Art Students at UC Berkeley Spoke Up

Drastic funding cut and fee increase at University of California triggered a lot of emotions and also generated a surge of pertinent artworks. Below are a few new murals painted inside the Art Practice Department of University of California, Berkeley:

Once a while, I went to Department of Art Practice for the live drawing session. For all the Friday evening or Saturday morning sessions, a nude model poses ten 2-minutes poses, then four 5-minutes, two 10-minutes and the rest of the time would be divided into 20-minutes sessions.

It is a great opportunity to practice one's craft and learn from others by peering over the shoulders, or sometimes, just standing behind the gracious fellow artists.
